The 2011 conference will be held at Seattle Pacific University with accommodations nearby at the Courtyard Seattle Downtown/Lake Union Hotel.
Transportation
When making your travel plans for the 2011 Conference in Seattle include at least one hour of transportation time from when you pick up your bags at the airport until you arrive at the motel.
- Light Rail: Once you pick up your bags at the baggage claim at Sea-Tac Airport look for the signs for the "CENTRAL LIGHT RAIL." The light rail departs every 10-15 minutes from the Sea-Tac Airport. Keep walking until you get to the light rail and purchase a one way or round trip ticket ($2.50 each way). When purchasing the ticket you want to go to the WESTLAKE stop (which is the last stop on the line).
When you arrive at the Westlake station you are to proceed upstairs to the street. Once you arrive you have two options: 1) Taxi-A taxi is $7.00 to travel to the motel. If you are in a group of two or more this is the most economical option. Or 2) Trolley for $2.25. You will walk a block to the trolley station and take the South Lake Union Car (which departs every 15 minutes) and arrives at the Lake Union Park. Once you arrive there you will see the Courtyard motel and it is only .2 miles NW to the motel. - Shuttle Service: You can take a shuttle from Sea-Tac to the motel which cost around $31 one way, $62 round trip.
